At The Gaming Stadium, all of our tournaments fall under one of four classifications. Here is what you can expect from each tournament:
The Gaming Stadium Weeklies
The Weeklies are regular, recurring events for our flagship games including Fortnite, League of Legends, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. They provide a fun and friendly environment for players of all skill levels to socialize, play games, and learn. Some Weeklies may feature tournaments while others will consist of in-house games or drop-in play. Here is what you can expect from our Weeklies:
- Prize pools up to $500
- An introduction to casual and/or competitive game modes
- Social days where you can play with and make new friends
- Opportunities to play alongside or against our staff
- Occasional raffles or giveaways
- Limited broadcasts of events on our Twitch channel
The Gaming Stadium Open Series
The Open Series events are designed with competitors of all kinds in mind. Featuring lower entry costs and prize pools, Open Series events are the perfect place for first time competitors to get a taste of tournament play, while still providing a challenge for seasoned veterans wanting to test their skills. Here is what you can expect from Open Series events:
- Prize pools up to $2000
- New player friendly explanations of the tournament process
- Weeknight or weekend single day events
- Occasional broadcasts of events on our Twitch channel
The Gaming Stadium Classic Series
The Classic Series events are geared towards competitors with some previous tournament experience. Featuring moderate entry costs and appealing prize pools, Classic Series events will feature some of the best local players competing to see who will come out on top. Here is what you can expect from Classic Series events:
- Prize pools between $2000 and $5000
- A tournament experience catered towards regular competitors
- Weekend events, spanning either one or both days
- Broadcasts of the event on our Twitch channel
The Gaming Stadium Masters Series
The Masters Series events are perfect for veterans of competition, looking to face the very best local opponents as well as out of town challengers. With high entry costs and massive prize pools, Masters Series events are the place to show off your skills and prove you have what it takes to call yourself the best. Here is what you can expect from Masters Series events:
- Prize pools of at least $5000
- A tournament experience catered towards seasoned veterans
- Minimum two days of weekend competition
- Full broadcast of each event on our Twitch channel
- Masters Series Trophy for the champions
