This summer, school is in session, but this isn’t your ordinary school curriculum.
TGS Esports and Volcanic Gaming are teaming up to deliver the Collegiate Champions Series, a 6-month long scholastic esports program with $32,000 of scholarships and grants up for grabs.
Let’s dive right in and see what this program is all about.
Play
$12,000 in scholarships + $10,000 technology upgrade for one school
Starting on July 10th, we will be kicking off the program by hosting collegiate esports tournaments with massive scholarship opportunities. Students will compete in a variety of Super Smash Bros Ultimate (Singles), League of Legends and Rocket League (3v3s).

Participation is open to all Canadian Post-Secondary students
SCHOOL SPIRIT AWARD
The school that has the most participating students will win $10,000 worth of esports upgrades for their esports team or club.

Our innovative program includes more than just opportunities to win scholarships by playing games in stellar communities with amazing friends.
We will also have a focus on learning what it takes to make it in the rapidly growing esports industry. This will be developed for both students and educators.
Virtual Classroom Workshops
Starting in the fall, we’ll be delivering some world-class workshops. Over the course of 12 weeks we will prepare students for the explosion of the esports industry.

You’ve played the games, you’ve studied up, and it is now time for the final exam: our Collegiate Champions Series Esports Case Competition.
In December, you’ll have the chance to bring your own innovative and powerful ideas to the fold, for the chance to win one of two $5,000 scholarships and an internship at TGS Esports.
