Hello everyone,

Amid heightened COVID-19 concerns in the Lower Mainland, we want to update you all on the status of us, The Gaming Stadium.

At this current time, we will be open and operating normally unless otherwise announced through Discord or our social media.

We are closely monitoring all news and updated measures presented by Vancouver Coastal Health, as the health and safety of both our staff and you, our community, is a priority. We have taken immediate action to do what we can to reduce possible exposure to illness at our venue, including:

• Ensuring hygiene supplies like hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes are readily available throughout our venue
• Frequent and thorough cleaning of borrowed peripherals, stations, and frequently touched objects and surfaces

Staff have also been instructed on best practices for safety including handwashing, avoiding touching of the face, and requiring those who feel unwell to stay home.

We also ask that if any of you feel unwell to please stay at home and seek medical attention.

We are constantly monitoring the situation and if anything changes we will let you all know immediately. In the meantime, we are also working on implementing online events that will be rolled out over the next few weeks; so the fun doesn’t have to stop even if we’re closed!
