These are the winners from our January Fortnite Invitational tournament! Our winner, Kyrieh, demonstrated his excellence as the three-time circuit champion! We asked our three finalists about their experience during the circuit, and here were their responses:
First Place – Kyrieh

Best weapon in Chapter 2: Best weapon is definitely the gold pump.
Favourite moment of the circuit: Favourite moment was when people started teaming up on me because I was first place.
What do you want to see in Season 12 of Fortnite? I would hopefully like to see them add rotation into the game. Launch pads, shadow bombs, grapplers, re deploy, etc.
What do you want to accomplish in Fortnite in 2020? I want to improve my competitive play. I hope I can place a lot more frequently in this upcoming year. I have improved a lot and I feel like I can now place constantly if I strive for it.
Second Place – Tavax

Favourite moment of the circuit: Winning solos leaderboard by 100 points!
What do you want to see in Season 12 of Fortnite? I guess some more tournaments from epic with a bigger range of prize pool.
What do you want to accomplish in Fortnite in 2020? Compete and place well in cash cup/solo tournaments to earn money.
Third Place – Optifii
Name: Elijah “Optifii” Rienks
Best weapon in Chapter 2: The best weapon in in chapter 2 in a legendary pump since it can kill anyone in 1 shot
Favourite moment of the circuit: My favorite moment is when you could glitch a bot to spawn, and it would fly over top of the map. I found that funny.
What do you want to see in Season 12 of Fortnite? I hope that in Fortnite season 12 they change the meta so everyone starts from square one, and you have to grind to be the best again. I want there to be a huge gap between who is good and who is not.
What do you want to accomplish in Fortnite in 2020? Honestly, I’m gonna set my goals high and say qualify for the world cup.
