Our partners at ggChampions have announced a $25,000 Teamfight Tactics tournament sponsored by HP Omen! If you enjoy competing in Teamfight Tactics, you can win some excellent prizes including Riot Points or an HP Omen Gaming setup. During the days and times listed below, players competing at The Gaming Stadium will be eligible for a shot at the prize pool.

- Tuesday, September 17: 4 PM – 9 PM
- Tuesday, September 24: 4 PM – 9 PM
Every week, the top 4 players on the leaderboard will win Riot Points based on the combined score from the matches they’ve played in.
- Semi-finals: Saturday, September 28
- Finals: Sunday, September 29
The tournament itself is free to enter, however normal TGS drop-in fees of $10 will apply.
How it works
Weekly Stage: Players arrive at The Gaming Stadium during our normal business hours and play as many TFT games as possible. The top 5 scores from any games played during this period will be calculated as their total score for that week. Leaderboards can be tracked on the ggChampions website. The goal is to play and win as many games in order to win points for rank and placement. Points are awarded based on a proprietary ggChampions formula that involves finishing place, rank, and league points.
Semi-finals stage: After the end of the four weeks, the top 64 players from the US and Canada will be identified and will advance to the semifinals stage on Saturday, September 28. The 64 players will play 4 matches in 8 private pools. The top 2 players from each pool will move on to the finals using the same formula from the weekly heats.
Finals: The final 16 players will compete on Sunday, September 29. The top 16 players will be divided into 2 separate pools and play 4 matches. The top 4 players from each pool, based on their combined score will win the grand prize.

Age restrictions
Players must be at least 13 years or older by the tournament start date (September 3, 2019) in order to participate. If you are between the ages of 13-18 and you want to compete in this tournament, make sure you sign and hand in the parental consent form which can be downloaded here.
